Terms of Service

1.1 Reservation

The Resort requires a valid government-approved identification from all adults upon check-in. Customers below the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or as otherwise agreed upon in writing.

1.2 Prohibited Items

No outside food or drinks are allowed on the Resort premises, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Any exceptions to this provision require a written agreement with the Resort. In such cases, a contribution for the coverage of overheads may be charged.

1.3 Event Reservations

For event reservations, cancellation must be requested at least 3 months prior to the scheduled date. The Customer is not permitted to bring along food or beverages to events, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Any exceptions to this provision are subject to a written agreement with the Resort. In such cases, a contribution for the coverage of overheads will be charged. The use of event management teams other than those enlisted by Jiyon Boutique Resort will incur a 30% surcharge on the venue rent.

1.4 Catering

In the event of an increase in the number of guests, billing shall be based on the actual number of guests for catering purposes.

1.5 Service Charge

A 10% service charge, calculated on a compound basis, will be added to all invoices upon billing.

1.6 Payment

The Resort does not accept checks and does not provide check cashing services. Payment for services must be made using accepted payment methods as specified by the Resort.

1.7 Damages and Loss

The Customer will be held responsible for any and all damages and losses incurred during their stay at the Resort and must settle any outstanding charges before leaving the premises.

1.8 Right to Refuse Service

The Resort reserves the right to refuse reservation or service at any time, without prior notice, in the event of disorderly conduct or rude behavior towards any of our colleagues, staff, or crews.

1.9 Lost or Damage of Personal Items

The Resort is not liable for any loss or damage to personal items of guests during their stay. It is the responsibility of the guests to ensure the safety of their belongings and to secure them in the provided rooms. Guests are advised not to leave valuable items unattended and to report any loss or damage immediately to the Resort's front desk.

In the event of a reported loss or damage, the Resort will assist in conducting a thorough investigation and will cooperate with the guests to the best of its ability. However, the Resort cannot guarantee the recovery or replacement of lost or damaged items.

Refund Policy

2.1 Room Reservations

Jiyon Resort is entitled to charge for the Room Reservation based on the following cancellation policy:

2.3 No-show Policy

In the event of a no-show (failure to check-in on the reserved date without prior notice), the Customer will be charged for the full duration of the reservation.

2.4 Early Departure

If the Customer decides to check out earlier than the reserved departure date, the Resort may charge a penalty or adjust the rate for the remaining nights/day.

2.5 Change of Reservation

Changes to existing reservations, such as changes in dates or room type, are subject to availability and may incur additional fees or charges.

2.6 Force Majeure

The Resort shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under the Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or government restrictions.

Legal Indemnity

The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold Jiyon Boutique Resort, its affiliates, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or in connection with the Customer's use of the Resort's services and facilities, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or violation of any law or regulation.

Miscellaneous

4.1 Additional Power Supply

Jiyon Boutique Resort does not provide additional power supply for events or occasions. Customers are advised to arrange for a 40/50 KVA generator only if it is deemed necessary for their specific needs.

4.2 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction].

By making a reservation or using any of the Resort's services, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
